The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
